Welcome to our railfan website!

This website represents the culmination of years of chasing trains across the United States by two generations of railfans. We have tried to showcase our best efforts from the past two decades, including both still photography and videos. For most of the past decade, we have lived in Southern California and have been treated to some of the most scenic and exciting railroading available. By scrolling down the list in the opposite window, you should see that our images are grouped by location, with 13 different categories available. These include several Southern California locations along with several midwestern states. Subjects range from normal daily operations, including locals and road freights, to special trains, including the UP DD40ax, UP heritage engines, steam trains and others. As part of our collection, we have made a special effort to present a group of images dedicated to the now defunct Michigan Northern Railway, which attempted to make a go of an ex-PRR/PC line that ran through the Northern Lower Peninsula of Michigan beginning in 1976. We certainly hope that you enjoy our photos and videos as much as we did taking them. We would love to hear any positive feedback that you might want to give, which you can do using the email link below.

Enjoy!

Paul & Zachary
